Meals:

Meals are served in the beautiful dining room, which is a short walk from the cabins and adjacent to the hotel rooms. The group will travel to the dining room together at designated meal times.

Meals are typically comprised of a main entree, a couple of hot sides, and a salad bar. Because options at meal times are limited, folks with special dietary needs are encouraged to pack additional food- just in case. Participants may use the fridge in the cabin common room to store their food if needed.

What's NEW this year?

Every year, the planning committee carefully reviews the feedback collected from participants. We use this feedback to make changes and improvements in order to keep our retreat fresh and relevant. Last year, a number of participants said that they would like fewer meetings. Others said they wanted more meetings and fewer activities, because, well, rock painting isn't for everyone.  Perplexing feedback, indeed!

Here's what we are going to try in response:

At specific times on Saturday, participants will have the choice to either attend a meeting in the Retreat Hall, OR to attend an activity of some kind in the cabin common room. We hope this will diversify the experience and allow people to "choose their own adventure" as they wish.

We absolutely see the value in having meetings and activities as a large group with everyone present, so there will be plenty of that throughout the weekend as well. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Accommodations and Pricing

Cabin room: $175 per person

Cabin rooms are a popular and lower cost option for participants. The cabin has a shared common area with a cozy fireplace, sitting area, and refrigerator.  The cabin has two separate wings with four bedrooms in each wing. Each wing has a bathroom facility with two stalls, two sinks, and two standing showers. In the past, many cabin-participants have been able to have their own room or share a bedroom with one roommate, depending on enrollment numbers. Cabins rooms are not assigned. If you are staying in the cabins, you may simply stake your claim after check-in.

Price includes 2 nights and 5 meals.
